Design Revival for a Spiritual Navy Yard Sanctuary

Waterfront Church may be landlocked and surrounded by high-rise apartments, but this corner has quite a history and has made a name for itself in the Navy Yard neighborhood. From humble beginnings as an outdated auto repair shop, this church has developed a devoted congregation, attracting worshipers from all over the District to attend three lively and packed services every Sunday. Lee Design Studio has accepted the challenge of revitalizing the plain exterior to mimic the vibrancy of the congregation inside. We are excited to work with Waterfront Church's Pastor Zack Randles and his team, to bring their house of worship's design vision to life.
